Is it possible to get a pleasure out of fear? How many people dare to go to the woods in the night to explore the imagination? Do all our senses affect our fancy with the same intensity? And how come that we like to feel scared?

Fear is an inherent companion of our life since the prehistory. In that time the human being had to constantly face the dangerous reality. Exploring his environment to survive mankind encountered all kinds of frightening experiences. These days rolled by and things changed. We live in a safe world. And apparently that’s why we sometimes need to hail the voices of our past, the worrying memories of prehistory; with this little difference, that today we like to keep the fear under control.

We love to watch horrors, play scary games but in the world where everything is so obvious and put in order we sometimes need to feel creepy and taste the aroma of adrenaline. That was the reason why Barbara P. went to the woods in the night, when the world was sound asleep and the darkness allows her to use senses other than eyesight. She found in de middle of the forest a feeding tray with inside a little bundle…

The filmmaker Barbara P. wants to check when is fear still a pleasure and when it becomes a real fear, a panic. She wants the spectator to find the border, so she leaves him a room for his own interpretation of the presented story. With the aid of the sounds of the night and several pictures Barbara P. creates a disquieting image to play with the imagination of a spectator. This short movie has been shot at the night-time, limited by a flashlight view. In this way Barbara P. tries very conscious to share with us the feeling of a person surrounded by the darkness, a little mystery and the echo of night. So, what would you do if…
